bout fucking time.
don't let people order mroe than one case if you can't fill it
It isn't Classic Arms fault that they only received X amount of cases. I say that is decent of them, give everyone a case of ammo and screw the resellers.
because everyone that buys more than one case is a reseller
From their website I'm not entirely shocked they don't have a good inventory management system
it isnt the buyers fault if they cant keep track of how much they have in stock vs. how much people have ordered
Hey, I'm a hoarder myself but Classic is just trying to give everyone a shot.
I imagine that a great portion of their sales came from voicemails, emails, and faxes, that is how they used to sell until like 2 months ago. Those won't go against their new inventory system.
I'm just trying to give them the benefit of the doubt.
Personally, they have annoyed me with their stupid doomsday shit that they would plaster all over their website to drive up sales.
I have only bought one thing from them and it was a decent deal and gun, an AES10B for 399 over a year ago.
Then they should have WAITED until they got their stock in to let people buy
it is fucking pathetic to sell all that, then once it comes in "lol oops we fucked up" and recall orders
uh are you fucking kidding me right now? WAY more companies should be limiting people from buying the extremes.
let people only buy 1 case, or if they're known for extreme purchases limit them to 0
lol @ him in another thread, he himself is a hoarder
yeah, he started that off in post 7 here.
you guys missed my point
They should make their policy 1 order per day or some shit, but how the fuck hard is it to have real time inventory.
they're a small company
what i meant was, they (all companies) need to start restricting this mass ordering, so other people can have even a remote opportunity to buy.
Still not that hard
uh, there are plenty of web based inventory systems out there that are cheap as shit
it is a pathetic excuse
its not the company's responsibility to make sure people can order.
whose fault is it if some people are too inept to get an order in?
So what's your idea for a five year plan?
The CMP started limits on ammo last month, mostly as a result of selling out of the 240 round tins. They also raised the price.
"Today, 24 March, 2009, we are setting a limit of 25 cans of .30-06 ammunition (regardless of type or combination of types) per year per customer - until further notice.
We will also increase some of our ammo prices, effective immediately. Orders already received will be charged the price that was in effect at the time the order was received."
most walmarts around here are limiting people of 6 boxes of ammo. i'm not sure if that's total or per UPC but i'm happy about it. maybe now the shit will actually last more than one or two people.
those assholes never sent me the right mags. They never responded to my emails or my phonecalls about it either. Now they are just making their job easier by not being concerned with multiple orders.
"Cletus, I cant keep track of these here complicated orders. they're blowing my mindgrapes" ... "fuck it Darlene , just send everyone one case."
Sellers should just adjust pricing accordingly, the market will even out the hoarders vs. users.
