He's a superhero and one of his superpowers is bein' Fabulous!!

who the hell is moon knight?
Moon Knight, first and foremost, is not a Batman knockoff. He is Marc Spector. He has multiple personalities of Steven Grant (millionaire), Jake Lockley (cabbie with street informants), and his original Marc Spector is a soldier of fortune.
His origin: He and 2 other men were in the desert in Africa as mercenaries. Their leader, Bushman, decided to earn a little extra bank and head up a raid on an excavation site and take all the gold. They got there and Bushman ruthlessly tried to kill everyone. Spector wouldn't stand for it, and after saving the daughter of the recently slain head of the site the excavation, he lost a fight vs. Bushman, and was left in the middle of the desert to die. He crawled until some men found him apparently dead and dragged him to safety. They were dragging him inside a temple when the daughter who found shelter there too forced them to drop him for being associated with Bushman. He rose back to life there under the egyption statue of Khonshu, god of the moon, and he assumed that he was to enact vengeance on Bushman since the people that found him explained that's what Khonshu was a god for. Then some stuff happened in America. Steven Grant got rich off the stock market, which got him all his nifty gadgets.
why have i never heard of him before OT comics and i've never seen him in any marvel crossover story? is he not very popular?
He was on a hiatus in comics during the 90's. He debuted in 1982 if I'm correct and was pretty big in his day. Near the end of his run, the series kinda fell apart (bad creators do that). The readers now work on the comics, and they want him back. Charlie Huston (current writer) grew up on that crack.
He is a Batman rip off. He has batarangs but they are called "moon darts" instead
You said you'd read Moon Knight if it had Jazz Hands!!! Tell us what you think. The first 4 issues aren't that hard to get a hold of
Jazz hands > *.
