A&P Moon Fail

    re: moon thread. I gave up on getting a shot of the moon the other night, but tonight I noticed the clouds were dramatic so I tried and well...meh.

    Yes I'm aware the moon is blown out. Trying to get the cloud texture.

    This was with the 18-135 kit lens and I had it at 135mm. Holy purple fringing/distortion! I strobed on the tree branches some.

    so meh. I tried. at least I have something for this week on my 52week pics :mamoru:

    try an HDR to get the moon exposed right if you have a RAW?

    I just thought it was funny :dunno: and I wanted to show how bad the purple fringing is on the 18-135 :dunno:
