Hey, I got this deal on a monitor of the internet and it works and looks great until I try to play certain CD games. The pic is all dark and I can't figure out how to adjust the contrast or brightness. There are 2 buttons on the front of the monitor and a little dial on the bottom, but when I push any of them, a menu pops up in Japanese! I would like to find a user manual in English, but I don't know the maunfacturer's name . There is a large logo on the back that looks sorta like a tilted figure 8 or infiniti symbol. Any ideas?
    Thanks

I hope by "great deal" it was free...

And the websites I see selling that part # clearly state that the OSD is Jap only.

Perhaps you can email them asking for them to email you a copy?

Also, you can most likely up your gamma in the settings for your video card. At least, nvidia has the option.

Not quite as good as handling the settings on the actual monitor, though.

I'm not sure what terms Japanese monitors use, but brightness would be "明るさ" and contrast is "対照", if those are the terms they use.
