I was thinking of buying two Dell Ultrasharp 1704FPT monitors to run a dual setup. I noticed that these monitors have 4 USB ports, I was wondering where they are located? Are they on the back, side, bottom? Im assuming they are 2.0. Also what is the best resolution to run them on

I'm sure the Dell web site has pictures but the Dells I've seen in person usually have a couple below the screen (in the back by the connectors where they're hard to get to easily) and a couple on the left side. I'm sure they're 2.0. Even slightly older stuff is 2.0 now. Run it at its top resolution, probably 1280x1024 for a 17".

What would be the best video card so I can run dual monitors? under 250 if possible.

um, you can do that with a $60 card, really... Do you play games? If not, just go get a 5200 or something. A 6600 with Dual DVI would be complete overkill, but would be good.
