i just picked up a monitor from a friend to use. it's a dell p1110. it is having some weird issues though. whenever i open a firefox window the image on the screen will bow in and out then settle in the center. also whenever I scroll up and down on the page, the sides bow in and out. it's like whenver something new refreshes the sides need to adjust.

is the monitor just broken or is there a setting i need to adjust?

Is that an older monitor? You could try the manufacturers driver for it.
That could make a big difference. Especially if it's some kind of graphics type of monitor.

nm i fixed it. looks like the brightness was too high for the monitor, guess my friend had the settings off. i turned it down and now it doesnt do that anymore.
