I'm looking for a 19" CRT monitor, preferably black, that excels in graphic applications and games. Any suggestions? All the ones I've found only come in ivory, or white. I really want the monitor to match my black computer... :hs:

How much do you want to spend? I've got a Viewsonic UltraBrite A90f+. it's black with a silver trim on the front. It's not cheap, but I went through the same problem you did. I wanted a NEC, but ended up finding this one and it matches my peripherals perfectly so I bought it. :)

I'm willing to spend around 200 to about 325. How do you like your viewsonic?

I've had a Hitachi CM721 FB for about a year and I love it. It's good qualtity, and has a five-year warranty.

All 29 reviews of it at Newegg give it 5 stars.

I love it. It's perfect for me, looks great for games, and it seems more widescreen than usual 19" monitors. I'm running 1440x1080 resolution right now. :)

And only the frame around the screen is silver, the rest of it is black.

It was $280 at CompUSA, with a $50 mail-in rebate. That deal is still going on. :)

Thanks. I think I'll just go to Fry's or something to check out the quality first hand.
