My monitor's trying to take a shit on me. It's just over 4 years old, some no-name that we got at Sam's Club.

How much am I going to have to spend to get one that's a similar size (17") and decent? I don't need a flat screen or anything like that, but I would like something that weighs less than the beast I have right now.

    I hate spending money. :wtc:

17" CRTs are very cheap these days. For $300 Canadian you can get a very high quality 19" CRT (Samsung 997DF, I just bought two). NewEgg has the 17" version (793DF) for $129 US.

17" CRTS can be had for a little more than $100. I saw a nice NEC Accusync for about $120
