I am trying to modify Arnold's Routine a little. I have the possibility of working out twice a day on some days during my current college quarter.

Not really sure how to go about this, If I work out once in the morning and then do the specific workout like Chest and Back. Should I do Chest and Back again on the same day later in the day or jump to the next days routine like Shoulders, upper arms, forearms?

On another question, what do you guys think of Arnold's routine, is it a pretty good beginner workout?

Something like Chest in the morning (or whatever large group (back/legs)) and then the accessory later in the day -- triceps (or bi's, and substitute in shoulders for the leg day)

I assume you're talking about the Level I Exercise Program. I'd split each workout in half and do the first half and second half separate, like this:

    Chest - AM
    Back - PM

    Shoulders - AM
    Upper arms/forearms - PM

    Thighs/Calves - AM
    Lower Back - PM

Make sure to have a postworkout shake after every workout.

Arnold used a lot of steroids. He had much better recovery time than you do. There is way too much isolation and rubbish in his routine.

There are tons of good routines in the sticky thread.

Thats the one im doing right now. ANd its not bad at all. Somedays i dont do the power training, some days i only do half, somedays i do it all.

I personally love it, but tomorrow im starting the lightbulb so we'll see how that goes.
