Right now, I'm looking at a webservice that sits on the internet and takes calls on port 3011. Data comes in on that port and is replied to on that port. Very simple program, doesn't dig into the headers too much.

Problem now is the remote machines are behind a router that is NAT overloading, so router is looking for the data to be returned on all different ports, but the ws is still just shooting back to 3011.

Is this likely an issue with the program itself or just the webservice, and where would I start looking to make changes to allow the program/ws to work with PAT?

Be gentle, I know I'm way out of my league. :o

It's a propriety program that I have permission to modify, if that's what you're asking?

What I've read since looks like it would be a handful for the guys who wrote it to fix it, nevermind me tinkering with it.
