iCab is as new as it's getting for ya.
Does not exist.
I have an old performa 575 with OS 8.1 on it sitting at home.
I just reinstalled OS 9 on my bondi iMac and got iCab up and running. Old school.

Pimpin an original iMac > Your new MacBook Pro
mac made computers before 10.3?
Some of the best Macs ever are from before 10.x
I was being sarcastic. I just never used them back then.
Actually, mac has never made computers.
sweet creampies 4? is that a good one?
I still miss my old Performa 630CD. That was one bad-ass computer for its time.
Expensive, too, but adjusted for inflation, a pretty solid deal, even it my parents did buy it at Future Shop.
Can't they run OSX, though? They made OSX for the RISC chips.
Yes you can run OS X on the iMac. Use to have 10.4 running on a 300MHz iBook with 256MB RAM. You might wanna upgrade the processor in the iMac though and the RAM will need to be maxed out. Sonnet makes a 600MHz G3 upgrade card for the Bondi iMac that also adds a FireWire port. Still only $289. It's great installing OS 9 and seeing that a full install take only 257MB of space.
took long enough for someone to notice.
...it's 'not bad.
