GUN Model 70 or 700 ADL

    Im looking for a new .270. I like the feel of the Winchester Model 70 but the only draw back is it uses the Winchester Short Magnums. Expensive rounds.

    The Remmington 710 ADL feels pretty good and uses a standard round but its a little heavier.

    What do you all suggest for a 270. There is only a 50 dollar difference in price but ammo is a huge difference.

    I want a synthetic stock with a blued action and barrel.

    Agreed, I have never heard any good comments about that setup. Stick with the normal 700 ADL, I had one in .270 and it performed great

    browning a-bolt :o Though between the two I'd get the M70 no question, I have a pre-war M70 and really like it.

    Either one is nice, but the 700 will have a bigger aftermarket.
