i just got a JVC MG155 HDD camcorders. i can get the files on my computer, but they are showing up as an mod file. nothing, including vlc will play this. i googled it and found this program called mpeg streamclip that will supposedly convert mod files into quicktime files. when i do that, it says that the file is not a movie file.

anyone have any ideas on where to even start on something like this? :x:
