Also, since my computer WAS working and i have stuff on it, is there anything special i should do when removing the parts to get the mobo? And is there anything i shouldnt do. THis is my first time taking it apart, my friend put it together for me so i dont wanna mess anything up.

If you get a different motherboard, you should reinstall the OS. I don't really have any experience with Epox boards, but I do with Gigabyte ... and I love gigabyte boards. I know gigabyte doesn't really do much with AMD platforms, but still :hs:

If you go with an Asus or Abit NF2 board, you surely will not be disapointed.

Because his AMD chip won't fit in an Intel mobo

  10. I have a BIOstar and it works great.

When my mobo fried, I got a new one on newegg and didn't have to reinstall anything. Just make sure when you're taking everything out/putting it back in that you're grounded so you don't fry anything.
