I came home the other night and my computer was shut off. When I turned it on it would hang part of the way through POST. I opened up the case and saw that this fan wasn't spinning:

It feels pretty stiff and won't spin freely like normal. The computer still wouldn't turn on completely after a few hours, but I just tried it again after a weekend out of town and it booted up. The fan is still not spinning and I can feel the heat building up in that area of the case.

Is it possible to easily replace that fan or will I be needing a new mobo?

    Thanks

yea MSI is infamous for using shitty sleeve-bearing fans. Their mobos are okay, but the fans suck. Get a new one from Zalman or similar. Not too spendy, and easy to replace.
