Is on the front page of ESPN.com, with an article and a poll...
Where? I don't see it.
The poll is on the right side of the screen, and the link to the article is on the rotating menu, under the "Where do we sign" front page article. Listed as [Boxing-MMA].
Cliffs on the article?
one of the most pointless polls ever. who's tougher? is this elementry school?
It was a pretty funny read. LOL.
he's right...i generally dont bother unless its linked
lol boxing is getting overwhelmed and all of these die hard boxing fans cant stand it its great
that was actually a fun read, albeit cliche
this whole boxing vs mma drama is pretty ridiculous. seriously these sports can actually co-exist very well and help each other.
actually, ever since i started training bjj, i realized that if i ever wanted to take the next step and try to compete in mma... im going to have to develop the striking portion. and a growing cliche is that yeah, most fights do end up on the ground, but all fights start standing up, and even more important... in the mma fight game, most fights get stood back up.
mma has increased my interest in boxing. And i would love to see an event that hosted both top level mma fights and boxing matches on the same card. ufc and its cage makes this a problem.
if you can get past all the pointless fake name calling and insults its interesting
how the fuck can you compare chuck to floyd, mayweather is on a level wayyyyy beyond. CHucks last fight was a perfect example, Mayweather would have NEVER gotten caught like that, ever.
Regardless, I still think just like metioned above, the two can coexist, make money off eachother and entertain millions. At the same time, if MMA has staying power we will see what MMA really is 30 years from now, when it has had a run like boxing has. I mean really, how many people are MMA fighters in now? Very few, most are college wrestlers that needed an avenue to make money, or grapplers that thought they might be able to make a buck subing people. Very few people train MMA, wait till the day where each fighter is an MMA fighter, not a wrestler, or a kickboxer, then it will be epic.
yeah but then watch maywheater try to defend a double leg take down and he wont be able to defend against it like chuck. boxers get knocked down with hits like that all the time the difference between the two sports is boxing gives you a break and lets you stand up and keep fighting and mma lets you finish it. to me boxing is more like cock fighting then mma is because the moment shit gets to dangerous they call the fight. with boxing they keep standing you up thats why you have people like ali that are retarded
