I started doing BJJ and Muay Thai this past month and have loved every moment of it. the only problem is i do not have enough time to work out. the only option is to work out on friday sat and sunday, which would be three days in arow with 4 days of no weights. would this be okay to do?

ps: i cant work out in the mornings, my schedules about to be 6am-5pm and MMA is 630-730 or later. then i have to study. and even if possible, woudlnt i be technically overworking myself by lifting after a workout of that measure?:hsd:

MMA training takes a lot out of you so yes you can left but I would decrease the volume and frequency and slowly bump it up as your body adjusts.

my schedule is also such that I basicly just lift when I can find the time inbetween my training, I make less gains that way as far as numbers go, but I still get the benefit to my MA training

do you go to 2 gyms? such as 24 h/ballys for weights and some kind of bjj school?

Or does your bjj/mt gym have free weights as well?

    just curious

Still train weights.... You wont make the best gains, but its worth it and will pay off when you train MMA...
Come to "the cage" forum. Theres a good crew in there....
