i jailbroke my 1st gen iPhone which is no longer my activated phone and i was trying to watch a game via MLB at bat. To watch, the app needs to find your location. Since the 1st gen doesnt have gps it uses cell triangulation to find location. i dont have service since its not the active phone. is there a way around this or a cydia app or something?

You'd think it'd still be able to use the wifi location service as that's how the iPod Touch would have to do it. Might wanna checkout their support site.

    Wirelessly posted via wap.offtopic.com (iPhone : Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7A341 Safari/528.16)

Ok. I dunno it was taking a while to figure out the location, so I figured it wasn't working.
