I created a starting pitcher in RTTS mode. I am in my 3rd year and still not yet in the Majors (in AAA). My arsenal consists of a 96-(sometimes)101 fastball, 12-6 curve and a changeup. I recently learned a 4th pitch (slider).

My question is, have I gone about this all wrong or are 3 seasons in the minors normal?

depends on the needs of the ballclub your rtts pitcher joined

i had my rtts pitcher called up his first year in 2008
my 2009 rtts pitcher didnt get called up until his third year. i had a couple good starts and i used the interactions menu to ask for a call up

Organization is the Red Sox, I didn't even think about this

Regardless, I feel my pitcher is better than Kyle Snyder who gets called up every year.

Happened to me too ( im a die hard red sox fan so coure i went with sox ).

My other RTTS 2nd baseman however got called up 1st year. But i was jacking homeruns left and right for some lucky reason.

God i love this game. Its crack. Best sports game ive played in the last 2 or 3 years im sure, and easily the best baseball game ive ever played. I could go on and on.

Now that the price of the ps3 has dropped, hopefully more people will get a chance to play this excellent game.

Cant wait to see what they do next year.

I agree, I can't get enough. My only problem is that at times the game seems scripted or something. Too many times I've been pitching a great game, or timing my pitches perfectly only to walk the batter, give up a hit etc. All that aside, this game is the best sports game I've ever played.

It took my RTTS pitcher 3 full seasons in the minors until I got called up for the Reds. I played 2 years and just signed an 25million dollar contract :bigthumb:
