i just received my mueller apv from mizzoumuleguns.com. i spoke with dennis on the phone last friday at about 10pm CST and received the scope yesterday morning. from alaska. :eek3:

anyway, the rings i have are about 2mm too short. the scope fits on my 93r17-f but i can't adjust the a.o.

anyone recommend some or should i just go to walmart and pick up some random medium rings?

    thanks!

btw scope was 115 shipped with a free sunshade

Probably overkill for a rimfire, but for real good rings you can find locally look at the Burris Signature with the poly inserts. They'll eliminate any minor mis-alignment issues you might have and won't mark up your scope tube.

i remembered that my savage came with 2 sets of rings, low and medium so i checked and realized i had the mediums on the 10/22 with the simmons scope so i put the lows on that gun and the mediums on the savage with the apv and all is well, now.
