they need to change it up a bit, no more 3 hit boss thing and they should have some sort of level/exp system.

it's not an RPG. That's not Zelda, that's a different game.

no. Zelda isn't a leveling game. It's not made that way, and will never be. The last thing I want to do it level grind my Link. Plus, then the game wouldn't be balanced in the dungeons. It's made this way - "get new weapon, go to dungeon where you need this weapon, beat dungeon and get newer weapon to use in future dungeon".

That's Zelda. If you don't like it, you just don't like Zelda. So, I'd forgot about it and play something else.

This is why Nintendo keeps releasing the same games over and over, because people will still buy them. The only Zelda I could get into was OOT and Mario sucked after Super Mario 64 IMO. Nintendo needs to make some major changes or I don't think I'll buy anything else they put out.

Dude, I'm not disagreeing that the last Zelda was boring, but that's Zelda's format. Maybe the problem isn't Zelda, it's that you've outgrown the format.

Zelda with an experience point system? Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Zelda II implement that system and that shit just wasn't received well at all. Zelda is perfectly fine the way it is, each title has always earned the best of marks. If it's not broken don't motherfucking fix it.

I couldn't get into Twilight Princess... those parts where you had to find all the light balls to get out of the wolf form annoyed the shit out of me and I never got past it. :hs: Maybe I'll give it another go one day... last Zelda I played the shit out of was Majora's Mask

I thought Mario Galaxy was fun too.

I agree - I don't think they should ever do the permanent full transformation like that again. It bugged me, I wanted to play as Link not a wolf. I got past it, but you shouldn't put tedious stuff in games like that.

Am I the only one that liked being the dog? :hs:

Windwaker was fantastic. Mario Sunshine is underrated, and Galaxy certainly doesn't suck. I hardly think it's fair to say that Nintendo release the same shit over and over again. Twilight Princess was the only one that felt a bit recycled, mostly because fans don't know when to shut up about wanting OoT2.

Why does everyone want nintendo games to be like everyone elses games? How many other big companys dont release the same franchises year after year?

As for zelda it usually changes its style quite a bit with each new version. OOT , Majoras mask , and Wind walker were all very different

Did anyone notice that link doesnt have a sword in that picture and that the girl looks like the master sword?

I agree 100%. Twilight Princess could have been better if the bosses were harder and they didn't force you to go for the light balls every time you find a new place.

But yeah, OoT was the "significant one", but I had much more fun with Majora's Mask... I'm down for a new Zelda on the Wii :wiggle:

Windwaker was pretty good, but their playtesters neglected that the sailing was LONG and BORING.

:ugh: I hate the Wii-series games (Sports, Play, Fit, Music). Resort looks like the first to actually do what I want it to do. I want HD graphics, Wii online sucks. I wish NOA would do a better job localizing some of the more niche Nintendo titles. There is plenty negative to say about Nintendo.
