was considering a new car, and was curious on a couple of things dealing with the eclipse. please help if you can.

    Whats the normal gas milage?
    How good is the ride?
Does it have good pick up?

Looking at years ranging from 99-02.

    Thanks.

Why 99-02? Thats 2 different generations. The 99 was the last year that mitsubishi made the 2G and the last of the 4G63 motor which is a badass motor. 3G's are more of a girls car but your more than welcome to get one. As far as DSM's go, they are reliable untill you beat the shit out of them or mod them to crap which usually leads to beating them. They can be made very fast for cheap but don't make the best dd.

almost irrelevant to this conversation, I had a '94 GSX and it was the best car I've ever owned.

Had a GST, did and still do want a GSX.

Overpriced for what they are but fucking hell if they aren't fun in the snow.
