    MIT has drafted a new project of offering [eventually] ALL of their courses/outlines taught at the university ONLINE for FREE!!!

    I found an article in the latest Wired magazine that explains what this is all about. Definately worth a look :)

    Obviously, it's not an MIT quality education, but definately cool. Here is the link. I'll leave it up as a sticky for awhile so all can see.

    I heard about this awhile back. Sounds like a cool idea, I just wonder why they are really doing it. :dunno:

    Yeah, I read about this about a year ago. I've already read through a semesters worth of engineering classes. :bigthumb:

    I guess you could resume it as 'Additional Training' or something.. :dunno:

    well if nothing better, it could totally sharpen your skills or open your eyes to things that you haven't considered before :dunno:

    Exactly.

    I think MIT's hopes here are that prospective 'future' students will read through this OpenCourseWare and be attracted to the types of classes offered.

    Looking at some of the stuff they do in class... Definitely much harder thenwhat i'm doing.. and what i'm doing is hard enuff alreayd.
