Okay, I am back in the game people!

Third, and last, child was born at the beginning of October. I still have 7kilos of excess weight from my pre pregnancy weight which I would like to shed. To be honest I am far more interested in getting in shape and having all my bits go back in the right place that if I didn't lose a kilo I would be happy - but I need a goal. So that it is!

    Current - 83kilos (182lbs)
    Goal - 73kilos (160lbs)

I also need to print out a work schedule so I can work out in front of the tv at night.

Yeah. Tea and coffee are bad in my case because I am not drinking enough water to replace what they take out.

:eek3: Really? How often do you wee?? Or has your body adjusted?

I have the water jug upstairs it is merely a matter of me remembering to drink or forcing myself to drink.

I am going to make up a chart with my musts for each day. Water, and my exercise routine :)

I haven't been focusing on exercise this week at all.

I have been making sure I have been drinking plenty of water (up around 6 large glasses a day) & I have been curbing my buying habits while food shopping. I have been buying wholegrain cereals for breakfast as well as grainy crackers for lunches and snacks. I also purchased some good salad vegetables and haven't bought myself any snacks at all.

Hopefully after a week or two eating healthy and drinking lots of water will be manageable and I can move onto adding exercise as well. I don't want to over load and stress myself out or else I fear I might just give up!

Anyway, just an update for those who care :big grin:

Pacing yourself is good. You can step-up your routine at pre-planned intervals. But figure out how you will step-up ahead of time instead of doing it on the fly. I was pretty successful doing something like this a few years back...

    Month 1: 15mins of HIIT, 3 workouts a week, eat 5x a day

    Month 2: 18mins of HIIT, 4 workouts a week

Month 3: 21mins of HIIT, add more veggies to diet

Month 4: take out ground beef, use turkey instead

Every month i would try to make an improvement to my diet.

    Good luck :wavey:

Over the last two weeks I have lost 2 kilos and slowly getting smaller in my measurements.

I have been continuing drinking lost of water (when I can :hs: ) and making sure I don't buy any unhealthy food! Also doing slight stretching at night.

This week I will be taking the dog for a walk around the block each night. I would do more but right now we can't afford to spend too much time away from the house, so I will be going while the two girls are in the bath and the SO can look after bub :) Something is better than nothing!

And I also bought an aerobic stepper so I can do some extra work at home during the day.

For the past two weeks I have been sick so my exercise regime has gone out the window :(

I am now up to drinking over 1.5 litres of water a day minimum, and strangely enough the more I drink the more thirsty I am .

I have lost a little weight (I keep forgetting to weigh myself) but I have lost my huge arse, so that feels good.

Managed to walk the dog around the block several days in a row so was proud of myself for that.

We are getting into summer here and today is 31C (87f) and it is only going to get worse so walking may have to be replaced with at home exercise.

What a whole post of nothing :(

Tea and coffee don't dehydrate you, btw :) I usually alternate a cup of tea/diet soda with a cup of water just to balance out my artificial sweetener intake, but the caffeine doesn't worry me from a hydration stand point.

Still working well on my water intake. Around 1.5 - 3 litres a day.
Exercise I have been very very slack with, but each time I take photos I realise just how much I need it :hs:
Steadily losing weight and in my opinion that is all that matters. Also making sure the majority of meals have salad or vegetables with them.

If I lose too much weight my wedding dress won't fit me :rofl:

Well the good news is that I lost weight. Am around 78 kilos now. The bad news is I have to get my wedding dress altered!

    Just my luck

    Will update more soon :)

    Monday 27th August, 2012 exercise:
    A) We had 20 minutes to find our touch and go max rep of a power clean, then a clean, then a full thruster. I Managed 32.5 kilos (72lbs)

    B) AMRAP in 8 minutes:
    3 Thrusters
    2 Burpees
    5 Front Squats
    2 Burpees
    7 Sumo deadlift high pulls
    2 Burpees

I managed 4 rounds + 2 thrusters at 17.5kilos (39lbs). The goal was to do 50% of your 1rm above.

I had a bad hip so front squats and thrusters and I have a horrible relationship. When the weight gets heavier I compensate for my weak left hip but torquing and pushing up with the majority of the weight on my right leg. I'm pretty much just learning how to redistribute the weight now that my hip is no longer the problem it used to be.

    Tuesday 28th August, 2012 exercise:
Didn't do a set work out today. Went along and just lifted weights. Did some overhead squats (20kilo), some push press(35kilos), clean & jerk(40 kilos) and some squats (35kilos).
Didn't do anything that heavy. Not sure what our trainer will assign for the rest of the week so I never know what to commit to at an open gym, because I might do some heavy squats today and wake up to a WOD full of heavy squats tomorrow

I wish my hip would get better :( It falls apart on rep four and I still seem to bounce rather than control the lower :(
