So, I have started an exercise regime and we will be taking part in a three month 'intensive' challenge
We need to keep track of our food intake, limit alcohol intake, and have no less than 4 sessions a week.

After 6 weeks my arms are buff, so in another three months my body should catch up and I should be fucking hot

Will have starting stats in a few days :big grin:

Well I am into my second week and I am feeling like crap.
I have come down with *something* and it is making general life difficult. Add 4 sessions a week and I just feel constantly exhausted.
At the moment I am resenting being out of the house 3 to 4 nights a week, but I am sure that will pass when I start feeling better.
Keeping a food diary and while it isn't unhealthy, it could be better.

I did 4 sessions last week in three days.
Done two this week already with another two to come.

Well just about to finish week three and I have hit a wall, of sorts.
I have a tear in my labrem of the left hip which since exercising has been irritated creating pain and discomfort. I have been told to stop exercising and just put up with the clicky hip.
Seeing a specialist in a few weeks to see if surgery is an option as I don't want to stop exercising and I would rather deal with the issue than ignore it.

I am still continuing with my exercises just protecting the left hip as much as I can. Last session tonight and then rest for a few days

Oh and I am liking the new body - except for the stubborn fat that won't move :squint:

    Onto week five.

I have been protecting my hip a lot and all the pain has gone now. So that has made my exercise easier. I just don't want to become weak on one side.

Legs are bulking up and lunges are super easy now. I have a two pack, the bottom 4 are still hidden under my post baby belly.

Nearly half way and I have decided to get serious with my diet. I don't want to go too 'healthy' because I want to be realistic and keep it going long after this has finished, but I figure I just need to work hard for a month or two and them it will be easier to maintain it.

I am putting on too much muscle, so I am doing to drop the weights classes and go for two cardio classes per week.

My upper leg is bigger now than when I started :( But my arse and lower stomach is still flabby

No, you are not putting on too much muscle. STOP THAT.

What's likely happening is you are definitely putting on muscle and you're just not losing fat proportionately. Don't worry about it. You are visibly losing fat in your problem areas. You are doing FINE.

Don't drop the weight classes. Sure, up the cardio, and maybe tighten up your diet. But for the love of all that's hot, don't drop the muscle-building

But if I up the cardio and maintain the weights that means 5-6 hours a week that I could be spending at home with the hubby instead of just 4 :p

LOL! Life, she is full of compromises ;)

What if you get him to work out with you? I do that with my BF a lot.

Hubby does weights and kick/boxing in the shed. He gets cranky at me because I can't do it as well as him  Don't know if us working out would be beneficial
