Old news, it was in the Macworld Email-letter.

 Just being a tool, good post :bigthumb:

I think I might do this, once N actually goes N and not this pre-n garbage.

doesn't matter to me, if i need to transfer something fast, i'll just drop it to an external hard drive
or plug in my laptop to my switch, i'll take gigabit either over 802.11n anyday, even though it does tie you down for a little bit during the transfer

what the hell was the point of releasing core duos anyway :ugh: Apple should have just jumped directly to the C2D. Was there a whole 6 months period between the CD and C2D. :ugh: :apple:

I pre ordered a wireless upgrade kit for the mac pro from www.powermax.com & its going to go into my macbook. the cards are identical and the installation sseems to be a bit of snap. just unscrew the laptop, open it up and replace the stock wireless card with the mac pro one. but, I'm not going to do it right away, I'm gonna wait till I'm on my last year of my applecare warranty and already have 10.5 installed.
