So I am doing my car in sections so I decided the tackle the driver rear today. You will see how bad the paint is. It is like that all around the car. I should have my butt kicked for letting it get this way. the hood will have to have a repaint because I didn't keep it waxed and allowed sea mist to sit on it :(. regardless, I am trying to do the best i can now. Here are the before and afters:

    Products:

    Meguiars shampoo
    Meguiars Clay bar
    SIP - orange pad
    Opti Seal - black pad
    Porter Cable

    Before :

This is the paint, no mirror :)

    Very nice improvement! :)

Sort of reminds me of a story I hear from Mike Phillips of Meguiars. A Corvette owner showed up at a Meguiars detailing day and got everything he needed to bring his Corvette back. However, he really didn't have the time to do it all at once. Every night, he'd spend an hour or so on a single section (like a fender or a door) and get it as perfect as possible. Took a couple weeks to finish the car but I heard it looked amazing.

Thats usually how I do my spring clean up as I would go insane if I had to do that all at once.
