Does anyone else have this and use it with their macbook?
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/M9319G/A

Everytime I plug it into my or my friends macbook our resolution changes as expected. WHen using either Svideo or the video composite cable all I get is streaming white lines on the both of the TVs tested.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Hmm, maybe it is because I am using the Dynex brand version. I am going to return it to Best Buy when I can then head over to the Apple store and buy theirs.

I have the apple version, and mine gets distorted as well... the reason for mine is that I have it hooked up yo a projector that only supports a lower resolution...

I'm a teacher and thats what the school gave me, but it's still annoying...

I know they have a low resolution and I am still willing to try it out. Right now all I get are black and white lines moving down the screen.

The TV is is an only ~24" box TV that my roommate gave to me to put in my room as I put a LCD HDTV in the main room. I just want to be able to watch movies from my laptop without burning them in my own room. Watching them in the other room is no problem with the PS3/360 and streaming.

I've used them plenty of times in the past and had no issues.
