What does everyone think of the Mini Cooper S. I'm deciding between the Cooper S, the RSX-S and a GTI. I'm looking for an enjoyable commuter car. I haven't driven the Acura or VW yet, but I'm still smiling from ear to ear from the test drive I did with the Mini this past weekend.

Also, another thing that drew me to the MINI is the fact that within the three year warranty period, everything but tires is dealer maintained for free. This includes clutch, full brake job with new rotors and pad, etc.

Think the design will last over time, or will it start looking gimmicky over time?

my brother got his, and he freaking LOVES the thing.

i must say, its a pretty damn fun car to drive. might not be the fastest thing 0-60, but on the highway, the thing MOVES out. Handles like its on rails. all in all, im very impressed with the car, and im an American Muscle kind of guy.

we just like to bust his balls...I'm sure it's a blast to drive though. They are very roomy inside (with no room for storage)

I haven't driven the RSX-S, but the GTI was nice but a shit load of understeer, even for a FWD car. The Cooper S was leagues above the GTI in my opinion. I think in a gray/black scheme the Cooper S looks bad ass. I would buy one if they made a RWD version.

No, just his website. Hes fucking  though, what taste in cars

I would probably go with the mini though, for its class. I test drove one briefly, nothing crazy but wow they handle well for FWD, and goddamn the inside is nice.

I'm torn between the yellow with black, black with black, and the pure silver with black. The choices.

yeah, the car is basically a 2-seater. just put the rear seats down, and you got a decent amount of trunk space. thats about it tho.
