Question, do you plan on wearing it with a shirt tucked in? If not, don't bother with a Versa Max.
go to www.hbeleatherworks.com and check out their Com3 or their DC Special models. I used to use a Versa Max but switched to the DC Special and actually like it more.

i called Milt Sparks directly about availability....the guy who picked up the phone apologized and said their entire supply of "stocking items" was depleted and were only taking orders right now....so i went ahead and ordered a VM-II holster for my G26 in black horsehide.
Itll be at my doorstep in 5 months

Ill be patient....i hear they are very much worth the money

It really is worth the wait, I have one for my High Power and love it. I also have a HBE Com2 for my 1911, and while it's a top notch holster I think I like the VM2 better. Also last I knew Eric was running way behind with times along the lines of Sparks. What about Top Gun suppy? They keep them in stock sometimes, and there's also another person without a webpage that stocks them sometimes. Jerry something iirc, you should be able to find his contact info from a search on www.1911forum.com or post a WTB on Glocktalk.

Check out Lou Alessi or Kramer. Both probably have 6 week lead times or so.

And how long ago was that? It seems like everyone's way backed up.

ThreatSolutions is months behind on the UCR, and that's a kydex rig. Sparks usually isn't 6 months behind, that's pretty rare, they must have gotten slammed really hard with orders. The longest I've ever had to wait for Sparks stuff was 3 months. Even then, it's worth the wait.

I've kind of given up on most kydex stuff, I've had 3 holsters and the freakin clips have broken on all of them. :wtc: I actually like OWB stuff more now too, if it rides high you can easily conceal it and not have to buy all new pants for the IWB models.
