Well, I have a spare room in the house that won't be used.. it's almost empty now. I'm thinking of turning it into a nice place to keep my collection. It's about 8' wide, 20' long, and has a steel door with a nice weatherstrip all the way around. The walls are bare concrete block right now. It's tucked away in the basement, but it's got potential. I'm thinking of putting a small workbench in there, along with some industrial shelving to hold ammo, parts, and other crap.. also going with a decent-sized safe, as well as pegboard running down one wall to hold older guns that aren't exactly pricey (SKS, Mosin, etc). The room has central heating/air, good lighting, and a very sturdy door that I mentioned earlier. Anything I'm missing? This room is practically empty right now, so I have no qualms about devoting it to guns entirely.
