now that's funny
the funny thing is, at least at the places i've been stationed, it was easier to get women if you WEREN'T in the military. we used to tell girls we were plumbers, electricians, bankers - anything BUT military aviators.
ripped straight out of True Lies
"Department of Veterans Affairs officials couldn’t say how often people pretend to be veterans; the agency tracks only people who try to fraudulently obtain veterans’ benefits, said spokesman Jim Benson."
Believe it or not, there are ALOT of mother fuckers that fuck the system over.
Those mother fuckers.
Tonight at a bar there was like 6 other guys in the crowded ass bar with military hair cuts and then the piano player was like "Alright, we're going to buy every guy in the armed services a beer, so if you're in the military, stick your hand in the air!!!" then I was the only person sticking my hand in the air.
Some guys just get the haircut to pretend to be in it seems like.
There's this homeless guy tha recently bought a BDU top and cover his homeless sign now says "Homeless, Veteran, blah blah" I really want to kick him in the face. 2 weeks after he started that, another one bought a BDU/Camo cover and started wearing that with a similar sign
I long ago stopped giving a dime to "homeless vets" on the street after I watched a news documentary that investigated as many of them as they could find in a homeless shelter.
Fuck 'em. They can do day labor just as well as the illegals can.
my buddy got hassled for money by a homeless guy who saw my friend's navy sticker and told him he was in the navy. my friend asked what he did in the navy, and the guy said "i was a pilot - i flew F-15s. i was a major" - my friend just turned and walked away.
funny thing is, my buddy probably would have given him some change if the guy had been honest and simply asked for help.
I passed a case onto the feds a few weeks ago with a guy that was active in the community. He claimed to have been highly decorated, but wasn't.
Ever think that they didn't raise their hands because they dont think being in the service entitles them to handouts?
I'm the same way
a free beer at the bar is not a handout
