MIL Military books

    i was wondering if any of you guys could recomend some good books about the military along the lines of generation kill. i actully picked up that book because of this forum, one of the best books iv ever read

    I haven't read Generation Kill yet, so I don't know if those are along it's lines. But both of these are excellent books.

    There's also a new book out, One Bullet Away by Nathaniel Fick who was in Generation Kill.

    Good recommendations here. I really second Black Hawk Down as your next read. Jarhead was a good read as well.

    Along with Band of Brothers, I'd recommend Citizen Soliders and D-Day by Stephen Ambrose.

    this reminds me i never did send out my spare book to the other OTer


    im reading MY WAR, colby Buzzell trying to finish up Generation Kill and That Others May Live, so i can start on one bullet away and NO true Glory(i think its a anti war book tho:o)

    a few moar when i get those close to being finished
