I am joining the Army very soon and just started running today. I live at about 7,200 ft and was wondering if it would give me any kind of advantage in the cardio area when I get to basic? I've heard stories about how high altitude conditions your lungs to work more proficient than lower altitudes. anyone know? :x:

Yes, the higher up you get, the less oxygen there is, therefore your body adjusts to the ammount of oxygen and when you come back down your lungs are more efficient.
