MIL .MIL gets priority handling from Google Voice

    Didn't have a .mil address, but I finally got my invite. It's pretty impressive.

    Think phone with forwarding privelages. They give you a number, you forward it to any phone you like. Voicemail with text transcripts, SMS, oh... and it's free.

    Works for me because I don't like giving my cell to just anyone. I can give them the Google Voice number and forward it to my cell with them being none the wiser. I can also filter out that call if I don't want to hear it.

    if you call using the web based dialer or the app for your phone it'll show up as your google voice number.

    it gives you an option to record calls, you can have a setting so they have to state their name so you know who you are recieving a call from also

    Never have to give anyone my real phone #.

    The voice mail transcript feature never seems to be anything close to what the actual voice mail is for me. :rofl:

    Maybe people just are speaking too fast or something.
