in the UFC over the last 2 years
I think you mean overrated.
I gotta disagree, I think he has height and reach, but actual talent seems lacking IMO. I haven't been too impressed with his recent performances. I wouldn't really say underrated though.
I think he's rated pretty accurately.
He's lost to the only A-level guy he's fought in the last two years.
hes one of those guys that fall under the shonie carter category. he can beat almost any one out there but hes lacking something that would give him the ability to hang with the guys at the top. he has 13 fights and he has only lost twice.
One of which being leben which isnt to bad and the other being okami. He has wins over some pretty decent guys as well like goulet, marcus davis, josh burkman and joe riggs. He is an ok fighter. Id like to see how he does in ww. I would love to see him fight some bigger named guys.
I think a fight between him and karo would be fun to watch
I enjoy watching him fight, but yeah he is in the best of the rest category rather then the best of the best category. Never going to be a serious contender though.
I like Swick, I am really looking forward to see what he does in his new weight class.
don't feed the trolls
Don't really know anything about this guy, is he off TUF?
Seriously if you want to make a thread about an underrated fighter or an underrated style of fighting or something, at least give reasoning behind your answer, not the OPs dumbass reasoning of 'his underrated cause i said so'
maybe he should stop raising his hand in the air like someone's going to fall for it
he was from the first tuf
i like swick, but he has looked realy meh in his last couple fights....
his fight against davis was horrible
you must not have seen his last fight.
I think he should have stayed at 185.
After the Okami loss, he bulked up so that he'd be stronger and bigger at MW, but then was offered a good fight at 170 so he took it. During the fight he was so big yet lean that he looked like he was ready to step out onto a bodybuilding stage. I wonder how good he could have been at MW with his new muscles.
where in did you hear that?
he was tiny at MW, was eating a hamburger before the weigh-ins for the okami fight, and said that he was way too weak to compete at MW after that fight.
He said he was going to drop to welterweight after the Okami fight because he came in lighter than ever. In an interview after the Burkman fight, this is what he said:
"The difference is that I bulked up after the Okami fight and then over cut myself the 2 months leading to this fight. Next time I will come in bigger and cut more at weighins."
You can probably find the complete interview if you google that whole quote.

an underratd gatekeeper?
you forgot to add the fact that hes a gatekeeper
I'm saying he's a good fighter but isn't recognized as such. He has potential to be a champ with the right game plan. Basically a lower caliber cotoure
