What are your thoughts between the new 2005 Toyota Tacoma and the soon-to-be-available 2005 Nissan Frontier? Both with the 4.0L V6 and in Double/Crew cab configurations.

aside from the fact that they're light-pickups not midsized....they both suck equally. my biggest complint is definately interior room. Drove an 05 taco the other day....i was actully uncomfertable in less than a mile.

are you sure it wasn't an 04? Because both 05 models are bigger and are now classified as midsizes.

and then what would you suggest? I looked at the dakota (like the exterior looks, didn't care for the interior, the complete lack of power was so disappointing)

I was looking at a 2005 Toyota Tacoma DoubleCab 4x4 Long Bed.

    again, I'm talking *2005* tacoma... with the 245HP V6, and the 2005 frontier, with the 270HP V6.

and yes, I felt much more power with the tacoma than with the dakota.

I drove a 05 Taco double cab long bed the other weekend. I liked it. I'm 6'4" and after fiddling with the seat some, it was comfortable.

I gave this part of the forum a chance -- but it does appear that the others were right... you're all ignorant morons.

yeah yeah, now I get called a troll and everything else... IF I HAVN'T MADE MYSELF CLEAR, YET, I DO NOT LIKE THE DAKOTA. I have found it to be sluggish when compared to the 2005 tacoma.

So............... Could we stay on topic?
