i am looking to find some mid afternoon snacks that i can buy off a store shelf. are bars like nutrigrain good for a mid afternoon snack?

i noticed on the package that it contains 14 grams of sugar for a bar that is only 37 grams.

    any other options?

What's this for? Cutting, bulking or general health?

A protein bar would be great :dunno:.

Almonds, walnuts and fruit are all good too

i weighed my self and i am at 182.8 (i am 5'10). i wonna get down to about 170-175. so i am trying to hit the gym to lose the fat and gain some muscle.

now i am trying to eat better 5-6 times a day of small meals, but i find it hard to pack small sandwiches, fruits and salads for the mid afternoon snacks.

i am looking into getting some off the shelf products that i can just leave in the office and can have any time.

almonds...its going to be. i have a passionate hatred of raw cheese. unless its on a pizza or lasagna, i will probably throw up on the spot if i ate cottage cheese or string cheese.

if you do almonds, make sure they're raw, no salt, or smoked.
