Mid 90's Lexus ES300 or Late 90's Nissan Maxima? Which one would you take?
The Lexus, because its not a Nissan. Plus all but current Maximas are very boring.
maxima is an ok car, but the es is another market segment altogether.
Depends what you are looking for. Maxima is more geared towards performance and Lexus is more of luxury.
I've got an 89 maxima right now and I want more of a luxury but i'm also kind of in a bind, cuz I don't wanna lose the power as opposed to get a maxima. Kind of a luxury/power deal going on......
I have an 03 maxima and it would be hard to go back to something with less HP, for even being so big, its still fun to drive
misread as GS 300. I'm kinda blah on the es. drive both, see which you like.
es just cause it has a toyota soul.
Toyota soul = oxymoron
KCMC582's car is GORGEOUS. Are you two one and the same?
Well, the car adub23 is talking about would look like this:
That is Hot!

Lexus ES? The Lexus for people who want to drive a Lexus but can barely afford one?
maxima of course
I miss my black one
Is that like saying a 3 series is someone who wants a BMW but who can barely afford one?
The 3 has a lot in common with its more expensive siblings and a heritage dating back to the 70s.
The ES300 is a Toyota Camry in drag.
Hey, now...the Lexus has its own rich heritage too.
someone obviously missed the point here...
point being that toyota > nissan, imo.
no need for the "imo", toyota IS better than nissan
what, the badge?
In reliability I'll grant you. In other areas... debatable.
To me both the Maxima and Camry are boring cars anyway, the Maxima just seems slightly less boring.
