I just read a few articles posted on here awhile back about how microwaving takes most of the nutrients out of the food. I have microwaved oatmeal ever since I started eating it due to the convenience. If what the articles stated is true, then I guess I will start mixing oatmeal with boiled water. However, is there much nutrients in oatmeal to begin with that microwaving would destroy? I can understand food like vegetables loosing their nutrients since they contain so many minerals and vitamins. But oatmeal is mainly just starch, so does it make a big difference?
