I'm having a problem with one of my laptops running WinXP, short version is that it no longer boots (has a corrupt boot sector) I was able to copy the contents of the drive to another machine before the hard drive totally crapped out. I'm wondering where In WinXP can I find the folders where the emails are stored as well as other files related to Microsoft Outlook and things like the contact list within windows so that I can copy it onto the new hard drive.

    Thanks

Outlook contains all of its data in a pst file, and possibly a pab file (personal address book - you don't need to use these though since it stores contacts in the pst file as well). You'll only have one or two of these files on the HD so just search the whole thing.
