Guys, about that certifications, MCSA(or equivalent for 2008), MCDST or others. Still worthing? I mean, do they have a good value in the market?

Depends what you're trying to do or what company you're trying to work for. Some shops will require them, others won't give a rat's ass what certs you have.

50/50 thing some say its worth it some say it isn't. Experience is going to get you further than a Cert... just my opinion :o

:werd: certs get your foot through the door at a LOT of places though. Can't get experience unless they at least hire you to do a job of "some" sort.

I'm considering taking a 6-month course to get microsoft certified...is this a good idea? I would be okay with entry-level jobs, I just want to get out of the unskilled labor type of employment :o

You talking about one of those New Horizons type training programs? They're decent, but they can be expensive depending on what cert you're after.

If you work primarily with Windows, go with the MCSA or MCSE

Not that, I just want to know if there is a certification that's more valuable than another.

I'm just thinking about it: MCSA x MCSE x MCTS ;)
