Ok, so I've been doing a LOT of reading, and a lot of comparing of products, and now I'm stumped on this one thing. All of the sites in the stickies sell microfiber towels, and they seem to be a pretty good chunk of change. Whereas I recently purchased a bundle of 12 microfiber towels from Advance for like $5. I was wondering, is there a difference? I like these towels I have a lot, they clean windows like you wouldn't believe, and they're great for cleaning the dash, but are they gonna be safe to use on the body for waxing and using detailing spray??

Easy way to test. Take a blank CD and rub the towels across it with light pressure. No scratches, the MFs are paint safe.

Difference between cheap and expensive MF towels are the amount of MF material actually used per square inch. A nice MF towel has more fibers to pick up dust.

    Yeah, something like that.
