So the anniversary of MGS4/MGO is today and on the 16th the KP devs are gracing us with more new shit (as if we didn't already have enough). A few things to muse on:

Peacewalker and possibly MGS Rising adverts in the porno mags...

Shadow Moses snowfield as a new playable map free to expansion owners, which to me is

and a lot of things that haven't been touched on yet, but Snake becoming a playable character in all modes (with unique characters on) is confirmed. Big update monday night. Can't wait. :bigthumb:

so, anyone want to play? or sit in on a combat training or two?

I still play this every now and then. I love it but 3 things almost ruins it for me

    1. Lag. Servers cant handle 16 players without seriously chopping down fps and the game browser while giving lots of options.. can be annoying
    2. Gamepad. Give us mouse support like in unreal tournament or port it to the PC
    3. Konami/Game ID. It is just confusing

But like I said I still play this. The last time I played a game where I felt this level of competition and enjoyment was counter strike. There is so many playstyles that fill into the game and it really encourages teamplay. You really get awarded for playing well and its not all about getting the most kills. I'm usually have more deaths then kills but still im somewhere at the top of the scoreboard because I help out team mates a lot.

Also I think the lag has gotten a lot less of a problem in these last patches. But still.. aiming with a gamepad is just a hastle. You get used to it, but considering how important headshots are in this game a mouse would be a blessing. I think if this game was on the PC it would be a serious contender to call of duty, left for dead and team fortress in popularity

I really hope they will consider porting MGO3 to the pc, since they are probably making that for the xbox 360

Oh and I could really use some shield training if anyone is interested :p
I'm getting better at using lvl 1 shields in public matches.. but if I could just get it to level 3 in an hour that would be great
