A delayed game is eventually good, while a bad game is bad forever.

ex: Arkham Asylum. About the same original release date and delay as well, if I remember correctly.

I guess it's better than being delayed forever a la GT5

August 31 = "we're ballparking the date and it's really closer to the middle or end of September"

Your logic is not sound. A delayed game can still be bad.

I felt the same way with the Prime games. I own all 3 and have only ever played the first one...and not even in full but I know they're all the same idea. I was LOVING it at first, but then I got to a point where I just had nowhere to go...

I bought 2 and 3 here a while back at a good price, with intent to finish 1, play 2 then play 3 and I restarted 1 (what...7 years after starting it the first time?) and just couldnt get into it. I wanted to but I realized what I like about Metroid is the side scroller goodness. I played through zero mission, super metroid and metroid fusion with no problem...but the Primes just don't pull me in.

I am hoping that this one feels like the sidescroller that a lot of the scenes look like, but a recent article on Kotaku has me worried that the controls will be annoying...
