I'm not too far off. My two favorites are Megadeth and Opeth.

Well if MrFaldyn and Tekky, if you read the post it says METAL FANS.

What's your favourite Megadeth album Opethian? And I've been getting into Opeth recently. What are some good songs?

    Countdown to Extinction.

There are very few Opeth songs I don't love after Morningrise so I'll just give you a handful.

When, Demon of the Fall, Godhead's Lament, Face of Melinda, Moonlapse Vertigo, Serenity Painted Death, White Cluster, Blackwater Park, Bleak, Harvest, The Drapery Falls, Deliverance, A Fair Judgement, Windowpane, Hope Leaves, Ghost of Perdition, Baying of the Hounds, Isolation Years, Reverie/Harlequin Forest.

Korn isnt "metal" per se, but I like their earlier stuff far more than the new. I love metal, but I like other types of music, too.

Two favorite Metal bands'd have to be Testament and Destruction.. But any Old School Thrash is amazing too, Vio-Lence, Exhorder, Dark Angel, etc.

Death will likely always be one of my top two favorites.

Currently, the second would likely be Mastodon.

    HM Iron Maiden

my two favorite bands are Death and Opeth. Almost any song by either of these bands kicks ass. Some early Death isn't that great, but everything from 1986 on is awesome. Opeth is THE best active band imo, and any list of my favorites would basically be a tracklist of each album. if you're not familiar with Opeth, I would suggest you listen to all of Blackwater Park, their 2000 release. Perhaps the greatest album of all time.
