It was the camera, not the gun. Just fiddling with the features, trying to figure everything out.

What do you guys think of these?

From the photographic standpoint you need some more light in there, everything looks to be pretty blurry so I'm guessing your shutter speed was just too slow for you to hold it steady. If its not on auto, turn your ISO setting up higher. A tripod of course is the other option.

You might play around with the focus some too, in the second picture it looks like it may have been on the magazine cap and I'm not sure thats where you'd want it, but the blurriness makes it harder to tell.

Good luck and have fun...photography can get more expensive than guns ;)

Thanks for the input. I have a tripod just didn't feel like geting it out and the room was pretty dark. I'm a total nood when it comes to this kind of stuff.

use a tripod if you have it, or enable the flash, either of those things will get rid of the blur. unless you have it on manual, which means you need to get glasses or switch it to "auto" :o

not that bad of shots, though (except being out of focus).

composition-wise if in the second shot you either zoomed out further or backed up some, so that the barrel was all the way in the frame, it might look a little better :dunno:

upon further review, if the second shot was in focus, and the whole gun was in the pic it would probably be pretty decent.

It looks to me like you took them with a camera phone.

Thanks for the advice. I'll take some more later and actually put some time into it.
