So far, it has actually been really good and probably the best crossover I've read in awhile.

So, they revealed Cable in UXM 493... but it looked like he was missing his Cone of Silence thingy that gives him his tk powers. Or it was integrated into that neat x-men baby holder he had.

So it seems everyone is against Cable? Scott is willing to take him down and steal the baby... Shit, after all the bullshit Jean Grey gave Scott, he's willing to kill any moment someone goes rogue :noes:

I bet Cable is doing something for the greater good, a la Cable and Deadpool when he had.... a messiah complex :hsugh: :o

wtf is Gambit doing during all this?

I liked it as well except for those New X-men... they're pretty much worthless.

Layla and X-factor has been pretty interesting too.

I thought Gambit's supposed to have some role here but dunno. :dunno:

i like the new x-men in their own adventures, but they're pretty useless when they're up in the "majors." hopefully they'll keep this trend of them getting skewered when they go up against big league threats b/c the last thing i want to see is everyone else getting dumbed down for the sake of making the kids look good. let them stick with their own threats and leave it at that.

So, was the mutant that registered really the baby or Nate coming out of nowhere and taking the baby?

apparently it's the baby that is the mutant. what is strange is that the baby was born a mutant, compared to the "normal" way of a mutant manefesting his/her powers at puberty.

    :dunno:

marvel's doing a goog job with this so far

Actually, they said the baby was born a mutant before they new Nate was back. Could be the Nate that came back is a mutant and he blew out Cerebro. Ah..... probably is the baby. They are just using Nate to obscure things.

Yeah Nate meaning Cable not X-Man. Also I love the Jean theory that people mentioned above.

So far, I think they've done a great job with it. That fight in Antarctica was . Only thing I didn't like was the gratuitous plug for the relaunch of X-Force at the end of the newest issue- nice secret weapon, Cyke

that was AoA nate grey...x-man. gave up his life force to merge with some alien to prevent him from the earth's destruction or something like that.

but didn't dark beast say something about him coming back to life in endangered species?

but this guy...this is cable, but we don't know what 'kind' of cable this is...is it some other future cable? was it cable from before apoc infected him with the techno-organic virus, thus incredibly enhancing his powers? it could be anything, cable, the baby, something else altogether, who knows.
