i thought it was pretty cool :o

good build up. how the fuck did prism die so easily? why is emma so hot? where was shadowcat and colossus?

i noticed near the end of the book, they showed that shot of the marauders that i made a thread about, and the dude that was in the old sunfire costume got changed to a different character

    dude, just because it's a one shot, doesn't mean it's a done-in-one story.

it's part one....of SIXTEEN! it's like the first episode of heroes, where we learn that certain people have certain powers...and NOTHING else.

fuck, they've had this planned out for years...what medium company in their right mind would plan something this long to do eveything in one book. even if they did, you'd make the same post saying....OMG THIS IS TOTAL BULLSHIT!!! THEY SHOULD HAVE MADE THIS INTO LIKE 16 PARTS!! I WOULD HAVE CAME IN MY PANTS!!!

I'm not bothered by that, void... It's more a matter that i expected some more stuff being shown and a larger cast. There wasn't much revealed that we already didn't know (from solicits or news), beyond who got killed in the massacres that is.

I like X-Men as a whole, but i'm just dissapointed by the start of this event. Should've started with a bit more bang i suppose. But hey, it's like we say in Sweden "Smaken ar som baken, delad", meaning "taste is like the ass, split".

yes, but it would've been nice to actually get somewhere in the story.

like i said....at 4:30 in the morning and terribly inebriated :mamoru: ...it's the first chapter of sixteen entire books. this isn't just like endangered species with beast running around at the end of the books' main story. There's 15 more parts with 22 pages a peice...that's 330 pages. trust me, there's a lot more going on in the next few months.

It just seemed lacklustre. But then again it's probably because of all the events in the past year and shit and the awesomeness the first issue was. WWH and Civil War and the shiet.

i thought it was a good start to a SIXTEEN CHAPTER event.

its like you're saying you don't like ____ album because the first song didn't give you all you wanted

i do that a lot with multi-title crossovers. i dont like having to get extraneous titles for what amounts to little or no progress in the overall story.

Kinda wierd when an comic has people killing babies seems "lackluster". But then again, they already did that in "The Authority" on a much higher scale so...

either way, it was alright. I might pick up a few more issues
