What does it mean when Scott says "There are no X-Men" and Xavier's body suddenly disappears?

No idea why as they still continued being x-men straight afterwards
Also, Xaviers body was taken by some other mutant to try and fix him up or something.

The mutant Exodus transports him to his base with the remnants of the Acolytes. Where Exodus and Magneto repair him as much as possible and coax him out of his coma. Then he goes about righting some wrongs in his life.

Basically it was the setup for the turning point in Xavier's life, since Marvel had turned him into a dick and he was on the outs with the x-men. No he's like a mutant consultant to Summers.

Thanks. I read the annotations in the tpb and it says a "shadowy figure" takes the prof away. Was a panel omitted in the tpb or something?
